Living in Helsinki: A Canine Perspective

Helsinki is a beautiful city; doggos like me are fortunate to live in this heavenly place. My favourite activity in Helsinki is visiting the various dog parks in the town and then winding down in one of the many pet-friendly cafés that dot the city. My favourite dog parks are Tervasaari Dog Park, Tokai Shore Dog Park, and Rajasaaren Dog Park. I love to visit Suomenlinna, which is a beautiful 260-year-old fortress that is a 15-minute boat ride from Helsinki. Boats and forts – what's not to like?!

Did you know?

Helsinki has a dog island, a favourite of all dogs in the region. Rajasaari is called dog island because of its popularity with pets. The dog island has two beaches and a fenced dog park for dogs to play, socialise with other dogs, and generally have a great time!
